Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting general facilities operations, grounds maintenance, and warehouse activities. The role includes maintaining building interiors and exteriors, handling inventory, and assisting with equipment and materials movement. Work is primarily hands-on and may vary day-to- day based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Grounds Maintenance: Perform mowing, trimming, leaf removal, driveway repairs, snow removal, and general outdoor upkeep.
- Building Maintenance: Conduct cleaning, minor repairs, painting, and general facility upkeep.
- Inventory Handling: Stock shelves, load and unload materials, and transport inventory between facilities.
- Inventory Refurbishment: Clean, test, and provision returned customer premises equipment for reuse.
- Roadway Flagging: Provide occasional flagging support for construction and splicing crews as needed.
Required Skills
- Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in the use of smartphones and basic digital tools (email, messaging, calendaring, etc.).
- Valid ability to operate a motor vehicle, including towing trailers.
- Capable of operating and performing minor repairs on small power equipment (mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or similar machinery.
- Experience with carpentry and/or masonry work.
